The Music Academy has multiple established Show Choirs. However, what is a Show choir? If you have ever seen the hit TV series "Glee," that's very similar to what we do! Students work on their singing, dancing, and acting weekly. 

MAWNY Show Choirs are quite accomplished. They have performed all over WNY for events such as the Variety Kids Telethon, Oishei Children's Hospital Lighting of the Christmas Tree, Fox Valley Country Club, National Opera Week, Erwin Johnson Memorial Foundation, Fantasy Island Festival, etc. MAWNY Show Choirs have also performed in Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando.

Shout & Roar have competed nationally and internationally, winning grand champions at Show Choir Canada (2024), 1st place at Rhody Rumble (2024), 2nd and 3rd place at Rhody Rumble (2023)  multiple 1st place Cedar Point Music in the Parks awards (2022), 2nd place at Show Choir Canada Competition in Toronto (2019 & 2022), 2nd place and soloist award at Marysville Showcase (2021), 3rd place St Francis Rhythm on the Rum River (2021), 3rd runner up at Cabell Midland Rhythm in Red Invitational (2022), multiple 1st place and solo awards through the Darien Lake Music Competition (2017-2019), and received scholarships with AMDA (American Musical & Dramatic Academy) in NYC & LA.
