Do you offer musical programs in the fall/ spring?
Yes! MAWNY has a Fall/Winter Musical Program, a Spring Musical Program, and 3 Summer Musical Programs!
What sets your music program apart from others in the area?
MAWNY prides itself on its reputable staff, high-end production quality, and student success. Many MAWNY teachers hold degrees in Music (Music Performance, Music Education, Music -Applied, etc.) from well- known and well-respected music institutions such as: SUNY Fredonia, Eastman School of Music, Canisius College, etc. MAWNY is dedicated to putting on productions that sound and look great. MAWNY often utilizes high end theaters, professional costume & set design, professional light/sound technicians, and much more! Most importantly, MAWNY strives to help students develop skills (musical and otherwise) that they can take with them beyond the walls of our studio. We celebrate individuality and want to encourage each student to find their own voice.
What age groups do you cater to?
Elementary School, Middle School, and High School-aged students. *We are now accepting college-aged students!
Where are rehearsals/ practices/shows?
Show Choir and Musical practices take place @ MAWNY. Musicals are held at the Nichols Flickinger Performing Arts Center. Many Show Choir Events (EX: Winter Showcase & Variety Show) are held in Swan Auditorium at Hilbert College.
Where are some examples of places your students have performed?
Students have had the opportunity to perform at/in: West Virginia Darien Lake (Buffalo, NY) Cedar Point (Sandusky, OH) Disney World Variety Kids Telethon
