Jennifer Cuttitta
Jennifer is so excited to be returning to her music & theater roots, as her passion for it was put aside to follow a career in the beauty industry as a hairstylist, makeup artist and eventual salon owner. However, that spark was reignited as her daughters’ interests at the Music Academy expanded and she found herself volunteering more and more.
Jennifer’s introduction to music started young while playing the viola as a member of Buffalo Suzuki Strings with multiple performances at Kleinhans Music Hall. Still, her love for singing lead to an eventual switch to music and theater. This became her primary course of study in high school and college, as well as training privately with local voice instructors Mrs. Virginia Greenan, Dr Regina Zona, and Mrs. Linda Koziol. Besides music and performance, Jennifer worked with lighting & set design, as well as hair, makeup & costume design at Studio Arena Theater, Lancaster High School, NCCC and eventually here at MAWNY.
She was a member of the Lancaster High School Women’s, Mixed, Concert & Show Choirs from 1991-1994. After high school she attended NCCC, majoring in Theater Arts. Past performances include “Pippin” (Ensemble), “Anything Goes” (Chastity), “Hello,Dolly!”(Dolly Levi), “The Nutcracker” w/BPO (Rag Doll), “Noises Off” (Dotty Otley / Mrs. Clacket), “The Frogs” (Persephone), and “Little Shop of Horrors” (Chiffon).
Jennifer is so excited to be joining the MAWNY team and is looking forward to working with the talented children of Roar this year.
