Brandon Mecklenburg

Brandon Mecklenburg (b. 1997) is a native of Buffalo and a graduate of SUNY Fredonia, where he received training under the guidance of Professor Daniel Ihasz. Brandon is known for his distinctive baritone sound and expressive capabilities. With a notable presence in theater productions throughout the East Coast, Brandon has taken on various operatic roles, including Aeneas in Dido and Aeneas with UUCB, Marcello in La Boheme with the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, Don Giovanni with the Hillman Opera Company, Leporello with the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra, and the Speaker in Mozart’s The Magic Flutewith the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Apart from his successful operatic career, Brandon also excels as a concert soloist, performing at several noteworthy concerts with the Buffalo Master Chorale, the Lutheran Chorale, and the Lake Junaluska Singers, among many others. In addition to his significant contributions as a performer, Brandon has a great passion about for teaching, and runs a voice studio that caters to students of all ranges of ability.
