Katherine Culver Joslyn

Buffalo-based soprano, Katherine Culver Joslyn is a recent graduate of the Fredonia School of Music where she studied with Professor Joe Dan Harper and participated in masterclasses with American composer Jake Heggie and Grammy Award-Winning soprano, Hila Plitmann.

Joslyn was a frequent face on the stage at Fredonia. Her performance highlights include: La Fée in Massenet’s Cendrillon, Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, scene performances as the second lady in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Despina in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, Violetta in Verdi’s La Traviata, and Sophie in Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier. Katherine Culver Joslyn was also the winner of the Fredonia School of Music’s 2019 Concerto Competition.

Outside of Fredonia, Katherine has had the pleasure of singing with the Western New York Chamber Orchestra and can also be seen as the soprano soloist at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, New York. Joslyn was awarded first place at the Central New York Finger Lakes NATS Competition in 2019.
