Arianna Durkin
Arianna is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia where she earned her Bachelors in Music Education, Summa Cum Laude. In her time at Fredonia, Arianna was the recipient of the Dr. Susan Royal flute scholarship. She also held officer positions throughout her undergrad which included being the president and secretary of Conductors Guild, as well as the vice president of the National Association for Music Educators (NAFME). Now, Arianna is in the process of obtaining a Masters of Music in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia. Arianna is currently a band director with the Lancaster School District at William Street School. She has played as a substitute flute player for the Lancaster Town Band in addition to being a private flute lesson instructor. She has studied flute under the instruction of Barry Crawford at SUNY Fredonia as well as Angela Lombardo, a member of the Rochester Symphony. She also studied voice under Leah Wieteg at Main Stage Studios.
